I'm secretly bisexual, and I have a male friend who I have a huge crush on...I think he might be bisexual as well. Neither of us are feminine, but I just have a feeling that he might be bi....but then I think I only think that because I WANT him to be bi...how can I find out if he's bi without him finding out that I am?

PS: If I just flat-out ask him, he could say he's straight and be lying. How can I be 100% sure that the guy I want to be with is bisexual without him knowing I'm bi???

You want to know his "secret", but you don't want him knowing about your "secret". That is hardly fair now is it?

Your attitude is most unhealthy and he deserves a much better friend than you.

Addendum:

The further comments you posted only confirm the worst. You want people to take risks for you but you will risk nothing for them. I will state again that he deserves better than you.

I had this same situation and found some interesting things about my friends, one way I aked how a friend would feel about certain situations like how would they feel if some one they knew was gay or bi see what they say, I found the first friend I asked that to wasnt as receptive as I was so I backed off that conversation reall fast but that isnt always the outcome just throw in some conversation about things from time 2 time, ya might get the answer ya like but with alot of todays culture ya might get different. Dont be afraid. you are you and no one is gonna change that and you shouldnt have 2 for anyone. or you can try the good ole get em drunk angle a few drinks of liqour usually makes them truthfull.

Well... in order to find out without asking him you can spy on him. Go through his garbage to see if has thrown away anything "gay", be around when he reads his mail, look up the history on his internet usage to see what sites he's been at... but I can tell you right now that in stooping to this level of curiousity is not a sign of friendship at all. It would be considered stalking.
The only "real" way to find out 100% is to either ask him head on or bring up the subject and see how it plays out.
Keep in mind that you said you have a "crush" on him... and since it is a crush, don't let it consume you and potentially destroy a friendship. If you think he may not be keen to being asked... then I suggest you look elsewhere for a potential same-sex fling.

What's wrong with asking? Seriously? I've NEVER been upset because someone asked! If he asks why, just say you were curious or you got a vibe or that you just got an idea. Then tell him its nothing personal if he is, that its fine.

You have to observe him over time. How does he react when he spots a very good looking guy and how does he feel about gays in general

I sympathise with your situation. I'm in love with a German Shepard that lives next door.
Should I wait until shes in heat or just pet her first and hope for the best?
