Whats the cause for males bleeding after sex?

My friend had unprotected sex with her boyfriend and he started bleeding from his penis...then the next time he used a condom and again after sex the condom was filled with blood on the inside what could cause that??

This could be caused from any number of things and should be taken seriously, he needs to see a Dr.
