I wear tighties, but they're blackeys, blueys, reddys, greyeys, stripeys... As for keeping them clean - no problem. Being an adult, I know how to wipe properly. In my opinion, a lack of appreciable skid marks is part of what makes a man a man. If you're still leaving them, you haven't quite grown up.
And I wear the occasional thong. I've sometimes gone commando, but I find I'm more comfortable with some support.

I don't personally care what guys wear... my boyfriend bounces between tighty whities and boxers briefs, but I say whatever protects the goods is fiiiiinnneeee with me ;)
