No, fish can't eat cat food. Cat food, in fact, each different kind of animal food is specifically designed to be the most nutritional for that particular kind of animal. Just because cat food kind of looks like fish pellets, doesn't mean that they are the same. Cats must eat cat food, dogs must eat dog food, fish must eat fish food, etc. But, as I said in your other question, you can feed them veggies and fruit. If you are saying you don't have anything to feed your fish and you're trying to scrounge around your house to try to find something for your fish to eat, well, first, fish won't die if they don't eat for one day, but second, try feeding your fish dark leaf lettuce, spinach, oranges, grapes, kiwis, mashed peas, etc. They love that stuff and it's good for them too!

you can get yourself a low cheaper fish food at the pet store .you dont feed it with any cats foods crazy will make the fish choked up and die later.

If they are African ciclids or Oscars, you can feed them little dudes raw steak, but if they are just pretty little aquarium fish like beta's or gold fish, let them eat flake.

well technacially speeking fish can eat anything.....but im guessing if your question is "is cat food good for fish" i would answer no. most likely it would kill them.

But I know people who have a pond and they feed there fish dog food!

I wouldn't it isn't made for fish. It won't kill them but it's not any good either.
