As for me, you have the right to be gay and the right to be happy. You don't have the right to shove homosexual based content down captive children's throats.

bossy (below) - Married couples who wife swap are a part of reality, by your logic 3rd graders should see films showing husbands swapping with their arms around their neighbor's wife and vice versa saying "Do you like to swing?"

When was the last time you were at a SCHOOL BOARD meeting or a PTA meeting. GO and give your opinion of PROMOTING HOMOSEXUALITY AS AN ACCEPTABLE LIFE STYLE being preached in elementary schools. Silence is what allows these things to go on. It's odd that Christianity can't be promoted but homosexuality can.

Some 38% of adoption agencies in the U.S. report having placed a child in a gay or lesbian household. The prevalence obviously being higher in states were this is actually legal, such as New Jersey.
Moreover, there are approximately 4 million gay and lesbian parents raising 8 million to 10 million children in the United States, according to the American Bar Association's Family Law Section. The American Civil Liberties Union estimates that the number of children in gay households could be as high as 13 million.
Therefore, as New Jersey state laws allow for the official formation of gay households per adoption laws and legal civil unions, there would not seem to be anything inappropriate in acknowledging the existence of gay households in public schools.
The only exception to the latter being, of course, if there is something that is otherwise questionable about the contents of this particular film.

The liberal biased enabling media is the problem.
They refuse to cover negative news about liberal bedwetting moonbats and refuse to cover positive news about conservatives.
Liberals are unable to win in the market place of ideas. Liberals can't win or be successful without having to cheat.
Liberals want to shut down free speech that the internet and talk radio provide.
Liberals are the new fascists.
Liberals suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Its real and it's incurable.
When stricken with this incurable disease, liberals minds warp into anti-American terrorist supporting mean spirited bigoted hunks of quivering flesh with an appetite to appear in front of a camera somewhere.
Liberals would gladly sacrifice millions of lives abroad and here at home in they derranged attempt to discredit President Bush.

NJ is a freak state, no surprising at all. I mean, why your former governor comes out of the closet on national TV, that is pretty bad. The current governor is as corrupt as they come, yet NJ residents don't care because he is liberal. Liberalism rules this state and the entire northeast. Soon the state will be giving civil unions to gay couples, of course without putting anything on the ballot. Having a referendum on this issue would be undemocratic. That's not the way liberals work. You do it the liberal way or they will do it for you, just another example here in the grass state.

Because the sane, reasonable, rational people have won the culture wars, and those who worship a superstition invented by desert nomads thousands of years ago are finally being eased out of society.
How does it feel to end up in the dustbin of history, along with Mithraism, the Mayans and the Marxists?

All these people bitching and complaining here, blaming liberals as usual, have probably never attended a PTA meeting to voice themselves on issues they disagree with. I wonder how many of these people even have children in school or are they just jumping on an imagined opportunity to spew their hatred on liberals. The question is "Why", not "Who". Sheesh, what a rabid bunch of hate mongering trolls.

I agree with you that this isn't something that the school should be taking upon themselves to indoctinate these kids with. I've heard it as young as kindergardener's were shown films how having same sexed parents were ok. This is up to the discretion of the parents to decide. Yet in the case of above they aren't allowed to have Christmas trees.

If this is your child who has to view these, then as his/her parent you can go directly to the school system and protest.. They worked that in with the Department of Education this past summer when the parents of children were not looking. The gay life will also be explained in their text as well. You can say a hearty Thank you to the democrats for that. It was their idea...but since everyone was busy with summer vacation, they forgot to tell you this was THEIR CHOICE...and not yours.

It is all part of the continued Liberal indoctrination of America. Next they will be showing old films of Stalin and the Russian army stomping around in Red square. The teachers will be required to say that Communism is "just another form of government to be cherished in the world" excluding the fact that Communism has killed millions of people, mostly those that disagreed with it. Sigh...it might be slow suicide...
