ABCD is aparallelogram. A straight line intersects diagonal AC at E, side AD at F, and side CD extended at G. If bBE and EF are 24 and 18 respectively, find FG.

You left out the important detail that the straight line passes through B. Then we have 2 simliar triangles AEF and CEB, with proportions 18:24. Thus BC = 4/3 AF. We have 2 more simliar triangles DFG and AFB with proportions 1:3. Thus FG = 1/3 BF = 14.

it somewhat is very very very annoying! i might desire to photograph the sq. ABCD E, F, G, H, mid factors of AB, BC, CD, DA respectively i won't photograph what are the line segments interior the sq. which intersects at P, Q, R, S. the only line segments that are no longer the factors of the two squares are the diagonals yet they intersect on the middle of the sq.. So the place are P, Q, R, S ?
