The lady in the next cubicle is VERY gassy during the first few days of the month. I don't know why but I DO know that her condition disrupts my concentration and often causes me to go into fugues where I black out and cannot remember hours at a time.

I don't blame the poor lady for a second...and I have PLENTY of personal time to use...still I don't know if it is 'moral' to use it for this reason.

Your thoughts?

I think that you can be granted long term leave with pay under laws covering a hostile workplace. How else can you describe a situation where a co-worker expells contrapuntal exhalations from below the belt. Bach is rolling in his grave.

initially, i idea perchance the Lysol idea should be type of humorous, and it may paintings, devoid of having to consult him to his face. yet then i realized that he ought to have a ailment that causes him to have a great number of gas, and then it would not be so humorous because perchance he can no longer help it, you already know? you may go away some gas-ex on his table. Or aks if he ought to "do this contained in the lavatory" even as he starts in. Ick. Lame that your boss isn't sucking it up and searching after the problem. He in all likelihood won't be able to tell him to stop having actual applications, yet there are extra acceptable techniques to cope with it (the gas) than blowing up your paintings section.

Personally, i would go the work man's comp route. Document these fugues, and get yourself some good pharmaceuticals so you can enjoy your days off and not worry what your street drugs are mixed with.

DO bring up in private the situation to your co-worker. Ask them to resolve the situation... Give them resolutions, help them with the research if you so desire. If this does not resolve the situation. THEN bring it to the attention of your SUPERVISOR !!!!!!!!
