one of the most entertaining books i have read on the subject of sun sign compatibilty is linda goodman's love signs.

while it is sorely behind the times as far as sexual diversity goes, she is one of the most knowledgable authors on the subject and presents it in a very well organized and easy to understand manner in this book.
i highly recommend it, because it goes over all possible sun sign combinations between male and female companions, which can also be applied to same sex relationships as well.
then you can decide for yourself if you are compatible with your lover or not. >:}

I really just depends on the people. Some people have many of the traits of their zodiac sign while others hardly any.
However, if you are both strong Scorps, you could be butting heads a lot. Strong scorpio people like to take the lead & maintain a secret/mysterious side which you may never know. If there is a good amt of give & take in the relationship (along with honesty and openess), you should be OK.

I'm not a believer in astrology and what not...but, my guy is a Cancer and I'm a Leo (bad call) and the Chinese zodiac says Tigers should never ever be with a Monkey (me). Anyway, we get along fantastic. So much for that...

I am a Scorpio ,unfortunately I have never dated another Scorpio,but it should be an easy relationship who else would understand you more than your fellow Scorpio!?
To make it work I think you just have to treat him as you would like to be treated, Adore him,Spoil him , never make him jealous, and give him his space when he needs it and you will do just fine!

according to what i know, like "polls" repell each other but i think that only happens to fixed signs such as SCORPIO, leo, taurus and capricorn. for the others, i think they click really well
