The easiest way is to go to My Computer and you will see your mp3 player located there. Just copy and paste files to your mp3 player. It is that simple. Don't overcomplicate things by using WMP.

First off, you might want to consider upgrading to media player 11 since it's probably a bit easier to do a sync from it.

Once you start up media player 11 click on the sync tab at the top. The songs that you have in your library should show up along with a sync list on your right. You can start dragging songs from your library to the sync list. (media player should detect the music you have in your my music folder if not hit F3 and add the folder where you store you music files on your computer then click ok to have media player start refreshing it's music library)

Once you compile the list you want to transfer click on start sync button on the bottom right hand conner and media player should start the transfer.
