supreme rulership over the world. america is a country filled with greed and this hunger will not be filled until the government either controls the world or destroys it. going into iran will definitely be the start of the next world war as so many countries have seen the injustice brought about in the conquering of iraq. countries won't stand by and watch america do the same to another country.

There would be a couple motives: First of all, there is mounting evidence that Iran is actively supporting the radical shia eliment in Iraq. If the balance of power between shia and sunni in Iraq is completely destroyed, a civil war between the two factions could and likely would spill out through the whole middle east. This would mean countless casualties, compromised oil production, and energy problems worldwide.
Second: Iran has a rogue nuke program and has threatened to blow up Isreal. with time, much longer range missles could be developed or bought to carry nukes deep into Europe and eventually the American continent. If they develope nukes, they could also be sold to terroriost elements. This is a headache nobody needs.
Despite all this, I am not advocating an attack on Iran at this time. The general population in Iran is for the most part, somewhat friendly to the US. It is the government of Iran that is not so fond of us. So I think we should use sanctions and diplomatic pressure and watch the situation ever so closely. We are thin enough in Iraq as it is. I don't think we should go into Iran in any large scale way at this time unless absolutely neccesary. It would spread our forces awfly thin. jason

The motive? Take Iranian "President" Mahmound Ahmadinijad's own word's as a cue when he states his goal is to destroy Israel with a nuclear weapon, and that action will bring back the 12th prophet (the one the fell down the well 1000 years ago) bringing forth a "Golden age of Islam" and that America will perish in flames with this rise in Islamofascism.
There was a similar motive when Hitler started gassing the Jews and burning them up in ovens, but I am sure you would have missed that one too.

the motive of ameria is clear ... 1. to minimise the strength of islamic countries and adding more dominating power to middle east..2. capture of oil 3.protect world for misuse of atomic power
