All of the mascots were in Dallas over the all star break so I got to see them and they actually had a mascot street hockey game outside of the arena on the Monday before the all star game. I have to say that Iceberg is the best He is the Penguins Mascot and is well DUH a giant Penguin. The Carolina Hurricanes did a decent job with a mascot being its hard to have a hurricane for a mascot they have a guy in a pig suit named "Stormy".

The worst in my opinion is the Islanders its a purple dragon made zero sense.

I can think of moments, but not the mascot themselves. I like the old Montreal Expos' mascot going to the Montreal Canadiens. That was a very good marketing gimmick. And I think it was the Calgary Flames' mascot who had his tongue pulled out by Oilers' coach Craig MacTavish. Those were the two best NHL mascot moments that I can think of.

Thrash in Atlanta! The guy is great! he's all over the arena but doesn't get in the way of the game. Great with the kids and does this dance with his two body guards that's hilarious. Watched him repel from the cat walk in Philips arena.

SABRETOOTH is definetly the best! Have you seen the video of him breaking the glass at a Sabres game, he's so into it! And he definetly has the greatest entrance. He comes down from the rafters on a rope thing...I don't remember what it's called but it is sweet! The first link is his entrance and the second link is the video of him breaking the glass...I love Sabretooth!
