What would Bush have to do for you to stop supporting him? Would killing a baby, live on TV do it? How about massacring 100,000 Iraq babies? Giving $8T out of the public treasury to his buddies? Destroying Americas reputation overseas?
What else would it take?

Only 28%ers please. I meant his support level amongst the American public, not the ranchers in West Texas.

Thank you for replying sir Hopeful. It is good to know that Bush cannot do anything, even sodomizing a male goat on live television, whilst simultaneously pledging his allegiance to the devil, to lose your support.
I salute your amazing loyalty, even if I do not share it.

Thank you Mr. Daniel. You have proven that at least two are able to read, understand and follow simple instructions.
I appreciate the rest of you for providing your "facts" no matter how dubious or illogically proposed they may be, but please try to answer the question.

I look at certain facts for my support of Bush.
1) He hasn't allowed a terrorist attack on US soil since 9-11. And we hear about many attacks being foiled by certain policies that he has helped to put in place. Such as Info-sharing between the CIA, and the FBI, as well as the Dep. of Homeland Secruity. There have also been attacks foiled that we didn't hear of, and their is no doubt in that.
2) The economy is doing very well right now. The Dow is reaching new heights, and I believe it's around 12,600. The unemployment rate is also very low (< 4%). Yes, Exxon did record record profits, but that is just the basics of capitalism at its best.
3) Test scores for America's kids are rising, and have been for a few years. This will help America compete with China and India, as well as Japan.
4) The projected budget deficit looks to be going down to about $95 bill. in 2008 compared to a predicted $350 bill in the summer of 2005.
5) A vast majority (80%) of Americans feel that the quality of life has risen since 2000.
---
I do understand that Iraq is not going too well, but reports have shown that about 50,000 civilians were killed in Iraq, stating 100,000 Iraq babies is pretty biased. As for Iraq, I feel that the infomation from terrorists that we are getting from Iraq is helping America. And bringing democracy to Iraq as well as basic freedom is a lot better than what it was before.
America's reputation overseas does vary in differant parts of the world. Compared to Europe, America is very conservative, and the same with Australia. But ask the Kurds in Iraq what they think of America, and I'm sure they will give you a differant answer.

What do the Islamic terrorists have to do for you to stop supporting them? Would a couple videos of cutting innocent, young men's heads off do it? (apparently not) How about indiscriminately slaughtering thousands of innocent men, women and children? (Nope, that didn't convince you) How about murdering almost 3000 innocent people on our own soil in one single day?(Even that didn't get your attention.)
Perhaps we should have just turned the other cheek - though I'm not sure we have any cheeks left after all of the other times we've turned them - each time these dirt bags have murdered, terrorized and committed acts of war for over the last 25 years, we have not effectively responded.
Get with the program - and stop relying on polls and statistics to try and figure out which side you're on.

Where do you get 28%?? You've got to be kidding! Try 75% of the Republicans sometimes as high as 78%! I will never turn my support for him and would vote for him again. What have you done for America lately?

Barrington: if those facts don't do it nothing will, there's a surprising amount of people who will always have there head buried in the sand no matter what the reality is.
