you need to be careful about eating while nursing or you could end up harming your milk supply. The best thing would be to meet with a nutritionist who can work with you to design an eating plan that is safe for you and your baby but wil help you take off some weight as you nursse.

You know breastfeeding helps you lose weight because it helps your uterus and tummy shrink back down at a faster rate. Keep in mind this is if you have a vaginal birth because with c-section you can't really do any crunches for a long time. But this is the time to really eat more healthy, drink water, because you're gonna be more active in keeping up with your baby and juggling other things, because it's hard to work that baby fat off if you just be a couch potato and don't do too much. Get the stroller together, pack the baby up and go for a walk. That way baby gets some fresh air, and is quiet and you get your exercise in.

I'm doing Weight Watchers and it's worked out very well so far. Not only am I losing weight, but it's much easier for me to make sure that I'm eating the right foods. I also stick the baby in the Baby Bjorn and take him for walks almost every day.

even as nursing you pick to absorb an additional 1500 energy above your known intake to keep generating adequate milk on your toddler. walk in case you may, and breastfeeding itself will help in dropping some weight through shrinking your uterus extra instantly. don't worry about dropping weight till your carried out nursing. I realized the not person-friendly way and that i ended generating milk at 4 months, i am going to't make an similar mistake with this toddler. sturdy luck

Work out..walk and eat healthy. Thats what my Dr. told me to do to take off the weight after my baby is born. That way you arent taking in any unsafe things for the baby like weight loss pills or anything like that. Good Luck.

Get into taking care of your baby and do not worry about your body. Once you have a baby the focus must go on what that baby needs.
Breast feed and the weight will come off.
I don't mean ignore your needs, but the baby comes first. ALWAYS.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
