Sony BMG CD raises awareness of depression
Some of Australia's biggest recording artists including Shannon Noll, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Human Nature, Guy Sebastian and Anthony Callea have come together to each record well-known songs that best reflect the hope and journey of living in Australia and to raise awareness for beyondblue: the national depression initiative.
The album titled Home: Songs of Hope & Journey is an inspirational collection of well-known and loved songs recorded by a diverse range of high profile Australian recording artists. The lead track is a duet by Shannon Noll and Natalie Bassingthwaighte of the hit "Don't Give Up" .
A percentage of proceeds from the sale of this album will be donated through the Sony Foundation Australia Limited to support beyondblue's depression research activities.
Released on November 25, the CD is available from all major music stores.
