When solicitors knock and/or ring your bell and you KNOW it's a solicitor, do you answer your door or just let them keep knocking until they give up and go bother your neighbor???
have you slammed the door on their face?
*just had one knock and he wouldn't give up, sicked the boyfriend on him.

If it is a kid, I will answer the door and either buy whatever they are selling or either give the child a donation. If it is a grownup, I open the door and tell them I would appreciate it if they do not knock on the door anymore that my child is taking a nap. If they are insistent to talk to me or continue to pitch the sale, I tell them I was nice enough to ask them to please leave and since you are still here, let me put it another way, I want you to get the hell off my property and do not come back.
