If I'm in high school then you got about 2 weeks to be with me or i'm moving on , and when you're grown and sexy you still got about 2 weeks to get your mind right either you want me or you dont usually people who play hard to get really dont have a lot to offer. so dont waste your time because it might not be worth it. Unless she's a virgin then you wait for about 6 or 7 months then you marry her and do your best to keep her happy, because in due time she will learn how to keep you happy and but you got to treat her right.

pretend to lose interest a little and if they react to that by trying to hold your attention, then it might be worth going after.

Wait for them to come to you, or be persistant. There aren't that many options.
OK, seriously, if someone is playing hard to get, they aren't interested, and perhaps don't have the heart to tell you point blank.

Do the push/pull. You push by giving them the attention they want, then you "pull" by taking back that attention and ignoring them. Put them on a pedestal then bring them back to earth. They'll be begging for more attention and now YOU make the calls.

Tell them that you don't think the relationship is working and you have to break up... if they really are playing then they will stop.

It's kind of cute at first - a challenge or whatever.
But it gets old fast.
If it seems like it's going to be futile to pursue, I usually don't bother.

well.....if you really like the person all you can do is wait or be patient...but it's not a crime to try every once in a while, you never know they just might give it up.
