When was the last time you got caught in a lie and what was it?

Well, I was playing scrabble with my husband and didn't have many letters left...so I made up the word "Cul". My husband who is rather smart, of course, knew that was not a word. So I grabbed the dictionary...went to the C's. and read my imagined definition of the word "cul" as in the "cul" of the pig. The sound pigs make when they are mating. He thought this was so unbelievable that it had to be true. But he had to look for himself...and of course there was no such word. I lost the game...but it was fun pulling his leg.

I got caught in a lie just last month. I told my parents I was going on a skiing trip with some classmates, however the truth was that I just wanted to go a concert in another state. After much deliberation they let me go. and they found out all about it when I called them from a friends house and the number was out of state. (i know it was dumb) ...anyways they let it go and sed nothing about it.
