One year can make a big difference in how succinct and well written things are. I'm 14. Don't belittle yourself by your age, since it doesn't make the matter. The matter is, people will tell you to go back to school when you act (or write, in this case) immaturely. If you want to think people don't like you for something, or make fun of kids in general for something, which is far to broad of a thing to say, think that they do this because you do not think like them, and nor do they think like you. Two different mindsets, especially when the understanding between the two is onesided or not at all, are not likely to get along very well. It is the way of the world.
If you ask me, that was a fairly disjointed answer, but not as disjointed as your question.

1. You will understand one day.
2. Don't take the immature crude remarks of others personally.
3. People who have learned to spell correctly care about spelling.
4. People pointing at you saying something stupid are pointing three fingers back in their own direction.
5. Immaturity has no age limit.
6. Stupid has learned nothing better to do and never will.
7. You are 13. You are no longer a kid.
8. Stupid respects no one - not even himself and is not always necessarily male.
9. You have the intelligence to recognize stupid.
10. You can make a difference.

Spelling is important because there are so many words that sound exactly the same, but are spelled differently and have different meanings. So, in order to be sure that your meaning is crystal clear and not misunderstood, you have to be careful with spelling, grammar, punctuation, and pronunciation when speaking. Unclear writing and speaking have led to big problems.
You're right, no one is perfect. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't at least make the effort, and then take pride in your ability to communicate clearly. Besides, not taking the trouble to spell and write correctly gives people the impression that you're uneducated and/or lazy and/or unintelligent, which could effect your job opportunities later in life. Even Russian bureaucrats are being sent back to school because their writing is so bad!!

People get irritated with poor spelling because it's distracting to read. When you're dealing in e-mail, your intelligence is inevitably judged by the clarity and quality of spelling and grammar, and appeals to justice over the matter simply won't help.
That said, you are correct: this is not a place to correct spelling or criticize people on the basis of how they write or spell, unless the errors are such that the question is rendered indecipherable.
Unfortunately, the nature of the medium here is that you're open to criticism by anyone who cares to do so, and for any reason. I should add that the spelling and grammar in your post here are acceptable enough in this context.

if this is like one typo this isn't any longer a large deal and that i do not care if each little thing is decrease cased or in spite of. i basically HATE even as there are dissimilar blunders or the grammar is so undesirable that you'll be able to't understand what the guy is searching to commence with. I can also not stand run on sentences. this is like one huge paragraph going from topic to criticism to question without punctuation!!! ahhhh!! haha :P

Some people get annoyed because they can always uses the spell check and many do not, and sometimes you just can't understand their question if they misspell words. I agree that not everyone is perfect, but some find it irritating I guess and they think that kids are lazy and watch too much tv and are careless about spelling errors.

As one person said, bad spelling will affect you in ways you can't imagine. I used to do the hiring at my last job, and I instantly threw away any application with more than one spelling error. I can pick anyone I want to work for me, and I'm going to choose the person who (a) is smart enough to know how to spell, and/or (b) uses spell-check or cares enough to ask someone else to look at their work.

Spelling doesn't bother me, I just try to answer the question. I understand in a way it's "cool" or "kewl" to misspell words, or fun, that's fine. I was once young (a long, long time ago) too. If poor spelling bugged me, I wouldn't answer the question, but that's just me. I am not a good speller, believe me, I am thankful they have a Check Spelling thing in Yahoo Answers. Have a nice day, chow.

There are a lot of medications that are spelled almost the same, if the pharmacy didn't care about the spelling then the next time you get your prescription filled, I hope your Dr. wrote the right spelling of the name of the medication & your name! (Spelling does matter, USE THE SPELL CHECK)

Spelling now-a-days is more of an effort rather than actual brains, notice the "Check Spelling" button. It's not nice to ask someone of their time when you don't even put in time when you ask the question.
