Love at first sight has happened to me twice now during my life. I went most of my life believing it was a myth. Then I met my now husband. We have been married about a year and a half. Five years ago when I walked into the room and saw him I knew that he was the man I would spend the rest of my life with. It was whimsical. There was an instant chemistry between us. It was destiny. My husband would speak and the sound of his voice would lift me up and take me to a far off place. The sparkle in his big blue eyes would send butterflies to my stomach. His touch was majestic. Driving home after our first kiss my foot trembled on the gas peddle in my car.
The second time I experienced love at first sight was when the doctor handed me a beautiful baby girl. I had never felt any feeling stronger. Time stopped when I looked in her eyes. Everything about her was perfect at that moment. Her smell, her soft curley hair. Knowing that she was mine and there would never be a stronger bond then the one we would share. Yes, I would say there definately is such a thing as love at first sight but you of course have to open your eyes, heart, and mind to experience it.

I definitely think love at first sight is possible. I feel that two people can have an unspoken connection. Whether or not the relationship works out is another story.

No there is no such thing as love at first sight. First you have to ask yourself what is love? Patience, kindness, long suffering, mildness, not getting provoked, not keeping account of injury and many other things. Love is something serious and something that grows stronger everyday, not a happy floaty feeling!

Not really. Lust at first sight yes. You can't really love someone until you really get to know them. You can fall in love with who you hope they are. If you are lucky enough that person turns out to be who you hoped they were then you would have love at first sight.

All of my kitties were love at first sight. But a man, no, he sure has to convince me of an awfully lot before i decide to start the process of love.
