While seated, place the rabbit's feet on your chest. Hold the crown of the rabbit's head in your hand and bend over from your waist and place the rabbit's ears between your knees, with the rabbit reclining securely in the wedge between your legs. With your index and middle finger, press gently on either side of the vent (genital mound) area.
If the rabbit is a male, a tubular protrusion will be seen. Even easier, if the male bunny is about 10 weeks old or older, testicles will be noticed on either side of the genital mound. If the bunny is a female, the protrusion will look more like a slit.

Some rabbits are easier than others depending on the age and breed. The best way to be sure is push the genital area (like a previous post said) if it is a boy a solid bump will pop out (his penis) if it is a girl there will still be a bump but it will be V shaped. Good luck- not my favorite thing to do.

I learned this trick at a pet shop when getting a second rabbit, it you kind of push down on there genital area if they are a boy a little "bump" will show, if it's a girl nothing will come out.

The rabbit I take care of is a male, and he keeps himself very clean. That includes cleaning his "water hose" and his "poop shute". One cannot help but see while he is doing this his "water cannon" is small, pink, and definitely a male appendage.

If it is male, it will have testicles that are visible if you turn it over. At least my Rabbit did.

About the same as with any other male from female-male has penis while female does not.
