Yes, but the problem is that not all people realize this. Therefore, there will always be people who are working in their self-interests and ignoring the needs of the larger community. In an ideal world, yes. But this is far from an ideal world! I'm not saying that we should go around trying to hurt each other, but it's important to look out for yourself. And, if you can help others while looking out for yourself, that's fantastic!

No. America has been successful for one reason and one reason only and that's competition. Without competition America would be kind of like France.
