You liberals are annoying too but I don't see you being as mean as these other people. What is going on?

As someone who is big into politics and has friends on both ends of the spectrum, I see what you mean. I am a soldier and I am a liberal. The problem is that neither understand eachother. No one considers personal experience. Conservatives think that liberals are tree huggers who just want to believe in a fairy tale land where everything is peaceful. And, on the other hand, liberals see conservatives as evil, money mongrels, who can't see past their own nose.
Let me explain this for both sides. Liberals aren't "Tree huggin hippies". Liberals are people who believe in a true, unbiased democracy who care more about the future, and the continuation of life in peace, than the extra dollar in the pocket.
Now for the conservatives. Conservatives are people who were typically raised with parents that were conservatives with christian values. Belief in a higher being is good. The only downside is that these people tend to put too much trust into someone. This can lead to a downfall. Conservatives just want justice for what has happened and liberals don't want more killing because it's not moral. The Conservatives, with christian morals, need to remember, if everyone took 'an eye for eye' the whole world would end up blind.
So, all in all it's more of a matter of stubborness, ignorance, and misunderstanding than it is of right or wrong.
The liberals usually attack conservatives out of retalliation because the conservatives usually start it. I've seen over the years that conservatives don't like to look into the facts. They just like to believe what they are told and hope that the president's right.
So, with no offense to the conservatives, please take the time to research what you think you know. Have an open mind and look for information in places that you normally wouldn't look but are reliable. Please realize what is happening here. I can understand a justified war, but when the country we're attacking doesn't have any relevance to the towers and the only positive from the war is a fat pocket for political officials and coporate CEO's, than we have a problem. Presidents have lied before and this president has been caught in more lies than any previous president.
It's time to stop fighting and stand up for the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights. It's time to work together for justice.

As a liberal I've been mean too. But I just can't work up as much hate as many of the conservatives here. The con trolls come on here and ask one inflammatory question after another. People like RLP ( which ironically stands for Really Lovely Person), Aunt Acid, I DON'T HUG TREES, are extremely obnoxious and take great pride in being so.
Their behavior of course reminds me of why I'm a liberal, and not one of them. The reason they are mean is of course because they are REALLY stupid. I've been stupid myself, but I can't approach their level. I've still got some sense left.

The liberal biased enabling media is the problem.
They refuse to cover negative news about liberal bedwetting moonbats and refuse to cover positive news about conservatives.
Liberals are unable to win in the market place of ideas. Liberals can't win or be successful without having to cheat.
Liberals want to shut down free speech that the internet and talk radio provide.
Liberals are the new fascists.
Liberals suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Its real and it's incurable.
When stricken with this incurable disease, liberals minds warp into anti-American terrorist supporting mean spirited bigoted hunks of quivering flesh with an appetite to appear in front of a camera somewhere.
Liberals would gladly sacrifice millions of lives abroad and here at home in they derranged attempt to discredit President Bush.
