Abstract - those paintings allow us to let our minds go and discover who we truly are. Abstract painting resonates with me on a much deeper, emotional level then representational painting.

I like to mix them together. Through both realism in abstract color (like a random but pointful color scheme) or abstract built by realism.

Realistic paintings are my favorites. Paintings from the early 15th century (aka: the Renaissance period) are most divine in my eyes.

I prefer realism. as I find it more of a personal level.
But I have recently found myself experimenting with combining both styles together. And have gotten some great results.
