are nissan altima's better than accords in generally, such as will they last longer. Better mileage, etc. All of those things.

Look at used vehicles from both going back several years. Can you even find any Altimas? No most are being recycled into soup cans. Look at resale value, Accord rocks, Altima flops. Check Consumer Reports. Altimas do look better but that's all they got, looks.

They are both excellent cars. The Accord has had the upper hand, but with the release of the new Altima, the clear edge goes to Nissan. The Accord is still nice, but dated. Altima is the best car in its class. Check out Consumer Reports March 2007 issue. They agree

Seriously. Remeber like in the mid 90's everyone was driving those jellybean looking Altima's you dont see a whole lot of them do you? No. They are in junkyards right next to Galants( Most Mitsu's suck too.) and those old boxy Maximas. As far as Japanese car Toyota and Honda made the name for reliability. And look aroung old Camry;s and Accord are still nice. The reality is not car looks nice in ten yrs. So buy one that will still run. Bod bless

dude come on nissan doesnt stand a chance against honda.. how many nissans do u see on road that are like 10 years old or even 6 ... i seen 1975 honda civics still running perfect with the same engine for that long...only a example i personaly own a accord they rock!!

I have had both and the accord was the better vehicle hands down!

the accord- hondas last for very long and are also better on gas

they are both great cars. if you are looking for power go with the altima.
