up for detroit??? is it a lovely city?? i was there for 2 days and it was ace!!! The home of mowtown and the henry ford museum! that was cool they have a weiner mobile!!! i have never deen anything like it >>>> being from the uk!!

I'm glad you liked it here. Detroit is a sweet city anyone who doesn't think so or has a bad opinion has never been here. I live in a suburb of Detroit and I like going there to the restaurants and for concerts and other activities. It may not be like Chicago or New York City but it still has it's charm and cool spots. The Weiner mobile rocks!!

Why would someone want to put their hands up for Detroit? Detroit is not a well known travel destination. The city is in decline, the economy is going down the hill, population is leaving, and Detroit is just not in good shape. An overwhelming majority of attraction you find in a travel guide about Detroit are not even in Detroit like The Henry Ford and Great Lakes Crossing Mall.
I use to live in metropolitan Detroit and as much as I love Detroit, I could never go back and live there again.

Auto Industry. The American Automobile. Detroit Schools. Inner city population... All these factors are in decline. Good luck.

the henry ford museum is cool, and downtown is getting better all the time, but most of the city is all rotted out

my hand has been up for many years
I graduated in the 70's from Cody High
and proudly bought my 1st house there
Relatives were/are police for that city
I have very happy memories of Detroit
