What makes you think that you're "bleeding like you're having a miscarriage"? To you, what difference is that from having a period? If you are concerned with very heavy bleeding, you should see your ob/gyn, even if you don't think you are or were pregnant. It could be cysts or other things. It could be something called dysfunctional uterine bleeding. I had that, bled very heavily for 2 wks and my period was 7-14 days overdue.

If it's heavier it could be a uterine fibriod. These alter your periods. It could also be due to birth control, if you've recentely started taking that too. If bleeding soaks through a pad hourly than you need to go to the ER. Otherwise, make a doctor's appointment to have an ultrasound done.

If you are having trouble with your period you need to see a doc ASAP. There is alot of blood involved in a miscarriage..and sometimes you lose so much you need to go to the hospital....so this is a question you need to see a professional about.

Its possible you have ovarian Cysts..that's how my periods were when i had them. So you need to see your Dr. they will probably want to put you on the pill or something to regulate that. To much blood loss isnt good for you. I have a friend that almost bled to death because of something like that. So it could be serious. Just see a Dr. and tell them about your problem

See a doctor! Seriously! My sister had the same issue and it was a fibroid tumor. An artery fed it so every time she sloughed off the lining of her uterus (which you do when you have a period)...she hemmoraged. You really need to get checked...please!
