With my school talent show, I won (Well, I got tied with another girl) by singing the song The Sign, by Ace Of Base.
If you have a large group, maybe you can do Michel Jackson's song, Thriller.
I really like A Whole New World, from Aladdin, and The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow, from Annie.
How about the song Barbie Girl, by Aqua.
Or, maybe the song Breaking Free, from High School Musical.

Are you in high school or younger?
Well, try a Norah Jones song, she is fab..loooove her and the parents will enjoy it too...You have to think about that!
or you can try a White Stripes song if you are a duo..they rock
If you have an awesome voice, try Journey..if not, do NOT attempt!
A slow Cheryl Crow? Is that a stretch?
