One way of obtaining a copy of your W-2 is to contact the payroll department of the company you work for and request they provide you with an additional copy. However, this may take up to 30 days to receive. You may also visit your local IRS building and they can provide you with an official copy of your earnings. These earnings statements also include the company's Federal I.D. number which is necessary to complete your tax return.

You touch the agencies that issued them initially (the agencies the place you worked in those years) and function them deliver new copies. you'll be able to desire to touch each company in my view. the government will in basic terms help in case you have tried to touch the agencies and that they've not offered the copies once you made the requests.
