Im seeing a mountain and a road and some autumn trees.

Well, when I close my eyes and look towards a lamp I see a brighter darkness than when I point my head away from a lamp. However, staring at the lamp with eyes open and then closing them I can see all kinds of neat after image glare for a moment. Now then, I'm going to close my eyes and go to bed. But I'll leave you with a question to ponder in turn - if you closed your ears what would you hear? ;)

Amazingly, if you look at a light source right before you close your eyes, you can see many neat patterns that float before your eyes.
