I'm really into music and i was wondering if anyone knew any bands that have a unique, interesting sound to them that I might not fo heard about.

I just got back from the UK and there are heaps of good ones over there. Such as; Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Razorlight, The Kooks, Editors. Indie rock at its finest! I also got some good Aussie rock for ya; Powderfinger, Wolfmother, Eskimo Joe, Sick puppies, You am I, Regurgitator, Silverchair.

These are legendary/ current bands you have to listen to (rock genre):
Iron Maiden, Savatage, Metallica (obviously), Lake of Tears, Amorphis, Manowar, Jon Oliva's Pain (related to Savatage), Chriss Caffery (related to Savatage), Ten (for this band, check out the song "after love is gone" on you tube

Sigur Ros is one of my favorite bands. There's also Mogwai, Mojave 3, Belle and Sebastian, Joseph Arthur, and a band called Spokane. They're extremely hard to find but you can listen to them on yahoo! music. They are really good.
