The Dallas Mavericks. They might be the only team in the NBA that can match the firepower of the Suns and grind it out with the Spurs. The Spurs simply can't get away with playing methodical, tough basketball anymore. And the Suns won't be able to outrun the Mav since Dallas has the good athletes to keep up with their uptempo style. Now the real question is: how will Dirk Nowitzki respond to the heroics of Dwayne Wade?

I'm going to go with the Phoenix Suns. They went to game 6 against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Championship last year. And that was without the injured Amare Stoudemire. This year I think the All Star trio of PG Steve Nash (league MVP for the past two seasons), F Shawn Marion, and C Amare Stoudemire will be enough to get them out of the Western Conference, into the NBA finals, and onto a championship.

I'm going Dallas. The game slows down in the Playoffs, somewhat negating the talents of Pheonix. Dallas has a lot of experience and depth, which should help them rest their players more in the regular season and be fresh for the Playoffs (unlike Pheonix, which plays an 8-man rotatoin every night).

Despite what happened last night, if the Spurs play the Suns its all Spurs. Theyll do exactly what they did 2 years ago to the Suns in the playoffs. The only ones the Spurs have to worry about are the Mavs. And i got confidence that the Spurs will pull it together in the playoffs and take the title home once again.

The Mavericks. They're 2-0 against Phoenix and 2-1 against the Spurs. They'll both give them a run for their money but it's the Mavs all the way.

Spurs, they play playoff basketball better than anyone, and their half court defense works really well when the game is slowed down. Pheonix can be stopped and Dallas just has Nowitzki.
