I just started Loestrin 24 19 days ago (the first day of my period.) I have not skipped a day, and I have taken it at about the same time every day, my boyfriend and I had sex last night, and the condom broke. He said he pulled out in time but I just want to make sure, what are the chances I could be pregnant?

If you indeed have been taking oral contraceptives for 19 days now the chance of you being pregnant is not zero but close. The typical failure rate for oral contraceptives is on the order of about 1% per year. Meaning that for every 100 women who take the pill for 1 year 1 of them may get pregnant.

There is NO chance that he pulled out in time. If the condom broke, you had sperm in you.
I wouldn't hold my breath as to being safe. You aren't protected for the first month you are taking the pill. By the 19th day you would think that you would be, but it's always good to play it safe.
Unfortunately you DID play it safe (good job!) and it fell through. Things like that happen.
Do NOT stop taking the pill, and just hang in. You should be almost ready to start your placebo pills, and you'll find out soon enough.
Remember to wait a week if you miss your period to take the HPT. Take it too early and you'll get a false positive.

Nothing is every 100% fool proof, so I would invest in an OTC Pregnancy test, and if you are really worried see a doctor about it!
The $10 of a prego test is way better than the $100,000 of a baby!

Sorry to tell you that there is no such thing as "pulled it out just in time". Regarding your new birth control, you should really follow the directions provided on the insert or by your doctor.

Yes. You can get pregant within the frist month. It might be less likey but it is possible. Hope for he best youll know in a few weeks. Sorry about the luck.
