I recently visited a web site dedicated to the study of the Bigfoot, or Sasquatch phenomenon that seems to be worldwide, not just Northwestern North America. Some pretty convincing material.
Check it out. www.bfro.net

Well it is a fact that a primate of great size existed (i cant think of its name) so yeah i think it is possible. Besides science can't explain everything.

Given that each day, the biological science community discovers a new or thought to have been extinct form of insect, aquatic or animal life--it's intelligbly plausible to assume Bigfoot does in fact exist.

Whether Bigfoot can solve the "missing link" question makes for cozy coffee-table debate amongst friends, but there is more strong evidence gathered than before this creature exists--and may soon be officially cataegorized as an animal species.

And this gives pause for yet another thought not yet taken seriously: eventually, we're gonna run out of fresh ground to build "progress" on; where are all nature's "critters" gonna go? We're already seeing video and news reports of bears, elk and deer freely roaming metro city streets. Hey: they're losing their homes and have to go somewhere......maybe we'll see Bigfoot come out into full view soon.

OK....that's a stretch, but all put aside: I belive it is out there--and proving it's existance is soon comming.

The historical facts talk about myths of giant ape-like creature going back hundreds of years. Lewis & Clark reported seeing Bigfoot. So I have to believe that it exists. However there is big money in fraud and many of the sightings in the last forty years have been proven to be fraud. The one that disappointed me the most was the Petersen film. After someone involved died the family came out and admitted it had been faked and explained how. That was the most solid proof, up until that time. It had still been disputed by some but it held up to most scientific criteria.
Still, the fact that one has NOT been captured live is not proof it does not exist. I have to hold out and hope for some more solid proof in the future.
BTW, it was Gigantopythicus that someone referred to in an earlier post.

I have followed this with interest for years, but recently, and I could not believe it at first, I discovered their is a law on the books, I forget which state it is, that if you kill one of these creatures it is considered murder, which I am in total agreement with, so if the judicial system has a law for it, can it be truely a hoax? someone had to have a lot of help passing a law for a creature that has not been tangibly proven to exist.

Cool! I always wondered if Bigfoot existed! I'll visit the site. By the way, my cousins made a documentary on Bigfoot.... It wasn't exactly a Blockbuster =)

I've seen a news clip that there was a sighting in asia too. I think he's real. He has feet like a human because we've seen the footprint molds. but the rest of him is all hair. The facial hair resembles a primate. He satnds 8 -10 feet tall that makes me a little nervous.

Hmm.....

I think that most bigfoot sightings are staged to get attention...

However, Some evidence looks like a human couldn't pull it off...
It looks as if a large ape-creature is roaming the world, avoiding humans....

Hmm.......

I dunno. Anything is possible. But the first person to claim they saw Bigfoot died a few years ago and he instructed his family to tell the public that he was lying...after he died.
