Wild stuff like "we're all going to die" is wrong. But it will be very bad.
Coastal areas will flood and changing temperature and precipitation patterns will severely damage agriculture. Rich countries can cope, but it will cost them huge sums of money and the standard of living will go down. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
It isn't like a Hollywood disaster movie. It is the biggest disaster in human history, but a slow moving one. If we start to fight it now we can make it a lot less bad.

I think as the global warming is caused, the temperatue becomes warmer and warmer due to which humans do not have capacity to absorb such heat energy so that they can't survive.Eventhough they survive, all the ice will melt and the ocean level rises and every land will be covered in the water.
But in some case,by chance if a little part of land is also not covered by water,he/she may survive.

When I was growing up, the apocalypse du jour was a nuclear exchange with the SU. Then, we were going to run out of water. And who remembers swine flu?
Now, it's global warming, bird flu, asteroids. I worry more about Iran's nuclear program than any of those issues. I can tiptoe ahead of a rising sea level, but outrunning gamma rays is tough.

I tend to be optimistic, but it seems as though people are finally beginning to take notice of the real and horrifying phenomenon of global warning-with this surge of publicity surrounding the issue, I have faith that we (humans) will try our hardest to make the appropriate decisions to lessen the effects of global warming. Whether its too late or not, I don't know, but I believe...

Sure. We got through an ice age or two in pretty good shape. We're exceedingly creative and adaptive. Note that the same species, us, inhabits the rain forests of Africa and the upper reaches of Greenland.

no we won't but i guess being sensitised about it will make us realise that we have to save our planet.
In that way i don't think we will come to a critical point in the near future...or in the near future of our children either
