Does anyone else find it amusing when someone driving a $40,000 car complains about a 10 cent increase in the price of gasoline? You see this crap on local news all the time when they do those cheesy interviews at the pump.

If they can't afford a 10 cent increase in the price of gasoline, then they ought to understand some basic personal finance concepts (including the concept of LEVERAGE).

Maybe, they are on a budget to? You may see them driving 40 grand cars but they may of over extended their spending. Maybe, they are so good at budgeting that is why they can afford a 40 grand car? Or? Like many I know, have alot of pricey things to show off and not a pot to piss in.

Why is it your business what someone spends their money on? Maybe they budgeted and saved every penny to afford that car. They could also be in debt up to their eyeballs. The point is you don't know how they bought it and its really none of your business.
