The Phantom of The Opera; Why is it you can't just can stop thinking about this movie?

Okay ... how did you know I was thinking this same exact thing!?! TODAY!

Maybe it's because the first song sung by Christine is "Think of Me"????

I saw the movie before the holidays, got the soundtrack for Christmas & have been listening to Disc One in my car almost ever since ... & it's February!! My kids are even singing along to it now!

I listen to it on the way into work & sit at my computer & think about the different scenes & try not to hum the songs!

"Come. We must go. The two fools that run my theatre will be missing you."

Because the guy that plays the Phantom is gorgeous and the music is enchanting! And its a love story from a different point of view

They did a pretty good job, for one thing. There were about eight hundred set designers on that job.

And there was Andrew Lloyd Weber's music, which is about as good as it gets.

And it was a good story, if you can figure it out.

Movies are designed to mess with your brain, and this was a good one for that. If you find, as I do, that you're mulling over them a great deal more than your friends do, you may wish to limit your viewing a bit if it's starting to bother you.

An exaggerated reaction to movies can be a sign of other problems. Depression is one. But in general, don't worry about it: movies are meant to create a minor amount of obsession in their viewers, and eventually it dissipates.

Dude you cannot possibly get the songs out of your head. I caught myself singing "The phantom of the opera is in.......my mind!" while on the toilet the other day. Creepy.
