The site listed below says, "Millard's father lived to be 92, and after Millard became president his father was the first father of a president to visit his son in the White House."
EDIT: the fellow below is quite right in saying that John Adams was still alive when his son became president, in 1825. But he was almost 90 years old, and as I recall he was living in Massachusetts, and travel wasn't easy in those days. So it's no surprise that he wouldn't make the trip to the White House. I can't find anything indicating that he made that trip.

I am not sure but, John Q. Adams took office in 1825 and the 2nd president, his father John adams was alive until 1826, so i am guessing he might have visited his son at least once before he died....

no, the question is not who was the first president to visit his son in the white house, it is "who was the first president to have his father visit him in the white house". Millard Filmore is right. All the previous presidents' fathers died befor they were elected
