Yes, all the time. I don't normally replace things that are working fine. But I did recently replace all of my kitchen appliances to energy star rated equipment. Also, I have changed all of my light bulbs from incandecent to neon. Also, I have placed insulation pads under light switches and receptacles.

We bought two scooters to save on our 8 mile commute to and from work.

You save money when you have a pro fix your things! That way you don't have to replace it when you break it!

i'd rather replace now and avoid spending more when my husband tries to fix it and screws it up

of course..i like diy projects if i can handle them..i stay away from anything electrical though for good reason
