You may just be craving for attention....I mean as gurls we tend to take something for granted but as soon as another gurl trys to take it, we get mad and think it's our possession. So it is normal sometimes to feel that way. To answer your question you would have to ask yourself if Alley didn't exist would you feel the same toward Matt?

My husband spends more time at work. I am jealous that they get to spend so much time with him. I am not crushing on work. I am jealous of my cousin's wife who gets to see him everyday. I am not crushing on my cousing. Sometimes we are only jealous of time or attention. Not specifically who it is getting or giving it.
