Hey, I've had a bent pinky since the day I was born and I always wondered what was wrong with it. It's hereditary. My mom has it and so does my oldest brother. Heres a picture: http://i19.tinypic.com/2r5vvv6.jpg

I just want people's opinions on what they think is wrong.
Soo what do you think?

Interesting. If it doesn't bother you, I would say it is a benign anatomical variant. Is it that way when you are relaxed? If so it means that you extensor tendons are short. Is it that you are just very flexible? If so, you have some hyper-flexibility. If this is the only place you have it don't worry about it. But if it affects other joints you may be at higher risk for tendon and ligament injuries, and should take this into account when making decisions about exercise and sports participation. If you regular doctor is not sure what is going on a sports medicine specialist may be able to help you.

You just have different connective tissue than "regular" people.

Several of my fingers bend up like that. No big deal.
