There are currently two possible impact crater sites larger than the 300 km diameter Vredefort Ring.

The one in Wilkes Land, Antarctica, would be 500 km in diameter, but the Wikipedia page says that a 1979 paper has "comprehensively refuted" the claim that it is an impact crater.

The one called Bedout or Shiva is just off the northwestern coast of Australia, and is about the same overall size, but so far the evidence for it being an impact crater is inconclusive.

Wikipedia says it's not in the US.

"The multi-ringed Vredefort crater is the largest verified impact crater on Earth. Located in the Free State Province of South Africa, the town of Vredefort is situated in the crater."
