If you're refreshing Yahoo! 360 pages a lot - a LOT, I'm talking hundreds of pages per hour - the Yahoo! servers will start getting concerned that you're trying to do a Denial-of-service attack, meaning that you're trying to purposely take up bandwidth so that other Yahoo! 360 users can't use the website. When that happens, you get an Error 999 and you'll be able to access the site for an hour or so. After the hour passes, you're able to access Yahoo! 360 in your usual way. Clean out any temp files you may have, reboot your pc and try again.

I havent gotten that for a few weeks, I m pretty sure it has something to do with bandwidth. As hard as it is stay off your 360 for 24 hours and it should be normal again (thats what worked for me). Im getting error 999 on Y!A now as well and another way to fix error 999 is once you get the error use firefox for a while. (I use firefox untill the internet works again) (im getting error 999 on Y!A right now so im using firefox)

Yes I have for the last couple of weeks. My pc is fine. I stop and scan. I have even had someone come out and look at it and put more programs on it. I don't know why but it takes about an hour before I can answer a question once I get the error
