get one of those skin things in a color you like.
Get a job and pay for a new ipod yourself.
If I was your mother, I wouldn't even go in on the if you pay for half I'll pay for half thing. You know why...? It's not like with a car, They don't cost that much, and most people would say to you "You already have a better one. why on earth would you want this one?"
