I believe Michael Jordan himself said it was 90% mental and 10% physical.

I'd say more about 60% physical 40% mental. Even if someone doesn't have their mind fully on basketball they can still play the game (which unforutnately happens more often than we like to admit).

Baseball is a different story. I'd rate baseball as being closer to 90% mental and 10% physical.

Compared to other sports, basketball is more physically demanding, and more mentally demanding as compared to others. But on its own, I would say more physically than mentally.
Of all the sports, Basketball takes the most skill and practice to master I think.

I'd say that basketball is more of a physical sport but is a mental sport. I think basketball is the sport which you burn the most calories per minute out of all of the major sports (at high intensity).

It is both a physical and a mental sport.

Both.

Physical in that you need speed and quickness to get around you defender. Strength to play a post game. And endurance to run up and down the court for 48 minutes.

Mental because you need to be constantly communicating with your teammates, figure out accurate passing angles, know where you are on the court at all times, execute basic plays, and steel yourself to take clutch shots.

In short, it's the perfect sport.

Both. You have to be physically fit and mentally strong in order to compete at the highest levels.

The physicality of basketball are the ones we see with the naked eye -- running, jumping, dribbling, shooting, etc which you have to in 48 minutes or so.

The mental side will include anticipation and positioning to get the next steal or rebound or block shot, and not choking at crunch time.

Basketball is definitely a mental sport. A smart player knows how to exploit his opponents' weaknesses and emphasize his own. He or she knows when to jump, when to shoot, when to dribble, when to pass, etc. Without basketball knowledge, it is impossible to become a great basketball player.
