Rub a dub dub
Three men in a tub
And who might those three men be
The butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker
They all sailed out to sea
I don't personally think this would classify as teaching children to be gay. I found your version but I learned another one growing up and I wrote that above. I had never even heard of your version until you typed it. Remember, the nursery rhymes all rhyme and your version doesn't rhyme so it couldn't be the orginal one.

When you are a child you don't look at it that way, so you aren't teaching the children anything but a little rhyme, and when you are old enough to classify something as "Gay" the rhyme don't matter anymore anyway. What is with people thinking that "Gays" are going to destroy others, honestly, like Lewis Black says, the president is more concerned about gays getting married, and isn't worried about the problems at hand, what are they going to do? Find the perfect family and all of a sudden, put on black robes, sneak up to the house, bust the doors down and start analy having sex with each other??!! OMG, there goes another perfect American family down the drain!

im gay and that never occurred to me as a child while hearing that rhyme. people are funny, something they dotn understand about children is that they dont find things like that suggestive, if u tell a kid "hey wanna rub my banana" they wont have a clue there is a sexual meaning. but people also dotn understand how kids hone in when someone is BEING sexual, the slightest glance from one adult to another is immediately noticed and remembered by a child. i know, cause i remeber seeing a movie as a child and thinkign it was very sexual, and years later watching it and realizing how subtle the body launguage was, and how it must have just made a big impact on me.
ps: u cant teach soemoen to be gay!! ur born gay!! â¥

I always wonder that myself. My daughter has a book that is kind of like triva, and it says, "Rub-a-Dub Dub, Two men in a tub" Then it asks the question: "How many men should be in the tub?" to which my 6 year old daughter says, "One!" It's hard to explain to her, "No, it should be three". She kind of looks at me all confused and I have no idea how to explain why three men are in a tub.

No, we aren't teaching kids to be gay. This has been around for decades and homosexuality has been around since the beginning of time. One has nothing to do with the other.

They can't teach the kind of gay you are. But they can teach you to think what they want. Do you think that you have been tought to think gay is a choice?
