If you are a kind of person who receives validation from other people's esteem, listen. I'm a guy and I don't find girls with their tongue pierced interesting.

If you want to bash the heck out of your teeth, go ahead. If you want to have to learn to talk because your tongue will get in the way for a while, go ahead. If you want to be talking to people who think you look like an idiot, go ahead. If you want to risk a major infection (the mouth is full of germs), go ahead.

So you don't have a mind of your own. You wanna be "like everybody else".
Forget the piercings...anywhere!
They impair the speech
Do NOT look good
Can mess up teeth
Can hurt/become infected
Enjoy being a child (ok, teenager)...do 'teen stuff'...leave the dumb stuff for adults who know better, but fail to do better.

No. I answered this same question a couple of days ago. Most of the answers were no, as well. It really looks tacky, unprofessional,....and, more than anything, I think it sends the wrong message about you out to others (especially men).

tongue piercing can cause problems. im sure it is very uncomfortable.............. u probably need to learn how to talk all over again cuz your tongue is not used to talking with a ring on it

no way. you might get an infection. wouldn't want to risk an ugly infection or tooth damage. i would just stick to piercing your ears.

i know people who have done this and have tooth damage now. It looks ugly and doesn't look professional if you're planning on finding a job. not worth the risk sweetie.
