It depends on the size of your baby. Usually, you calculate 2.5 ounces for every pound of baby (per day). They eat about every 3-4 hours.

The health department recommends 18-30 oz a day for birth to 4 months and 25-32 oz for 4 -6 months. My daughter is 4 1/2 months and eats 4-5 6 oz bottles a day.

My sisters baby is 11lbs 15oz and is 15 weeks today! Well we feed her 6 ounces every 4 hours. They say you could also 4 ounces every 3 hours. The doctor told us, 6-8 ounces for every 4 hours and 4-6 ounces for every 3 hours. We just asked him today because she had to get her shots! You will know when your baby is ready for me or is okay where he/she is at.

my baby is 14 weeks and she takes the SamsClub brand Enfamil lipil and gets usually about 4 oz every 3 hours. Sometimes she'll only eat 2oz and then go two hours. At night she'll eat 6oz and sleep 6-7hrs.
