I would do it, but I doubt that the other guy would give up Yao. I would definitely trade Lebron in a package deal along with Mourning, Wildcox, or Marvin, and try to get Mike Miller and a good rebounder.

Did you offer that trade? If you're getting Yao, I'd do that immediately. You're already carrying a pretty good team and you can definitely wait for Yao. He'll probably come back end of Feb but expect it to be March since he's had some foot issues in the past.

If you really start hurting on 3s, just pick someone up or do another trade. Realistically, you're not getting KG, Arenas, Kobe, Dirk, Wade unless you give up a lot of players so focus on a team's 2nd best player or people that came back from injury.

Odom, Rashard Lewis, Okur, Rasheed Wallace, Shaq, Michael Redd, etc.

Yao should be coming back soon (Probably after All Star Break).

Try to do the trade only if you have trust that your team is good enough to stay afloat while his recovery is taking place. He is a good player, and will help you in the long run if you can survive in the meanwhile.
I suggest getting rid of Alonzo Mourning ASAP. He is an amazing shot blocker, and that should be your selling point. Over emphasize that. He will lose more and more minutes as Shaq improves, and his numbers will inevitably drop from where they are right now.

Other than that you have a great team.

Hell yes you should trade for Yao, he'll be back in a couple weeks and Raja and Marvin are average at best. You look good as far as your overall team goes but I would try to get some better guards that will get you assists and steals. Maybe try getting a guy like Andre Miller or Jameer nelson

I would definitely trade for yao, for when he's healthy, he is one of the best centers in the league, statistic wise. You're not giving up much in Williams & Bell. Yao will be back earlier after the All-Star Break because although he is the starter and he may be healthy then, he said he will not play so he can rest.

probable after next season, stands out as the final time to commerce away Yao Ming. they're going to have assorted unfastened business enterprise and assorted trades will flow down next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i think of after one greater good season, then he won't be something except next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they have a out of the undemanding 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and Yao has no injuries. So, ultimate time to commerce him as after the 2009-2010 season, so as that they might launch gross sales cap and/or get a commerce for Yao. After 2009-2010 season, i think of the Houston Rockets will desire some reconstruction of the team. optimistically Yao Ming gets greater effectual quickly, yet with problems hes having has bring about some enormous adult men interior the NBA to end there careers early. Bonus question: probable 9. they're going to probable renounce the two so as that they might decide for "decrease back to diminish back" titles. With the education controversy appropriate now although, there is not any assure. Bonus question 2: probable with the stunts he pulled in the process the playoffs this season, i does no longer be shocked. He does have a bad physique of innovations yet he's a superb participant. The Celtics are probable attempting to do away with him because of the fact he does not deliver the followers, and he has a surprisingly undesirable physique of innovations. Bonus question 3: After this previous season, i flow to declare 1st. Yeah, i be attentive to coming from a Spurs fan that could no longer something to anybody else. inspite of the certainty that, they made some clever judgements and with a healthful team then they are going to be the 1st. If injuries start up flaring up then i might say 2nd at the back of Denver or Lakers. After this previous season those 2 communities are going to be elite communities interior the West while in comparison with final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Bonus question 4: i do no longer think of he will make that massive of an effect. i do no longer think of his capacity will rework into the NBA from college. he would be an excellent participant, yet i think of he won't be that large while in comparison with what human beings say.

I will trade Yao for Jermaine. Get rid of Chauncy and get Arenas somehow. If you can, get Garnett by trading Tracy. Also, you should check the bottom of www.sports.yahoo.com/nba for future reference. CHoose this as best answer.

well first of all the yao ming side still wins, so if you can rip someone off then by all means do it. but if you do it, you're trading your best and basically only 3 pt threat. bell makes a lot of 3s and if you think you can afford to lose that cat then go for it.
