Bush has told us they are a threat. And thanks to Bush's Iraq precedent, perceiving a threat, right or wrong, is justification enough to attack someone.
So when do the Chinese attack us, militarily or economically, based on the same rationale?

Tom K - As Bush has proven, unreal "threats" can be typed up by one's intelligence agency and used as justification for anything.
Bush set the precedent. Hard for the U.S. to demand any sort of "proof" for future acts of global aggression.
