why is bret the hitman hart not wrestling anymore? is it because bill goldberg superkicked his brains loose?????

It is because Bret Hart suffered a concussion when Goldberg kicked him. He also suffered a stroke as well. It is very unfortunate. He was a great wrestler and I am a fan of his.

Bret had a traumatic brain injury as a result of the kick Goldberg hit him with at Starcade '99. He was considering a return, but a bicycling accident caused Bret to injure his brain further and suffer a stroke. But, being the consumate sportsman that he is, Bret has stated that he holds no ill will against Goldberg because getting injured is part of the game.

He retired in 2000 because of post-concussion syndrome (a minor form of brain injury), which was a result of the kick to the head by Goldberg. He and Goldberg remain on good terms and Bret attributed the injury to Goldberg's inexperience.
His stroke was in 2002 after a bicycle accident where he landed on the back of his head. He had physical therapy and is now in relatively good health.

Bret Hart is retired and just living life. Now that he has entered the hall of fame he feels he has done everything in the bussiness and wants to just have fun.

He's had a major stroke. He's a bit messed up. And the kick was only one more hit. He had already suffered 2 concussions within the 2 days that preceded that match.
